The Coffee Table Book (Short Stories)

The coffee table has always been more than furniture.

It’s where ideas get left open. Where books stay unfinished on purpose. Where taste shows up quietly, without explanation.

The Coffee Table Book is a new apt24b content series built around that idea.

We’re opening up our personal collection — books we’ve lived with, returned to, spilled coffee on, stacked, restacked, and let sit in plain sight. Not because they’re rare. Not because they’re expensive. But because they’ve shaped how we see rooms, objects, culture, and time.

These are books that don’t demand attention all at once. You move through them slowly — a few pages here, a pause there. Something unexpected catches your eye. Some are visual. Some are quiet. Some feel like reference material, others like mood boards bound in linen. All of them have earned their place on the table.

If home is a reflection of what you care about, the coffee table is where that reflection lingers longest.
